comon, there nothing bettter than workin a 90hr week and riding home a 2am freezing your nuts off knowing that because you work 7 days a week you'll never need to worry about "what am I gonna do today"

Hey well done DJ,welcome to the land of self employed.
I tell ya,you may not make the $$$$ of a regular job,but you will have heaps more free time on ya hands to enjoy your passions. You are now out of the matrix.
Looks like the midweek riders club is picking up.

Hey Dj... if it's something you're happy about... then congratulations !

Welcome aboard the "Where will my next bank deposit come from" train. Believe me, its not as bad as it sounds and before you know it you'll be self sufficient. Besides, you've got so many specialised skills I'm sure you'll be in demand.

As has been mentioned above (and I can vouch for) you may not achieve the same financial rewards, but after 30 years of stress, other peoples deadlines, other peoples priorities, other peoples politics, peak-hour traffic, restrictions and all the other bullshit - you will quickly come to love the fact that you have a life and some control. Add to that the fact that you can concentrate on things you are passionate about... and its a pretty sweet package.

Enjoy ! The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob

The biggest problem I've found in this wonderful game we call life is that no matter what it is you wish to do, you can usually find the time but not the money, or when you have the money you can't find the time.

Redundancy is the answer. Congrats, you lucky, lucky bastard.
[I left Qantas about 5yrs ago- redundancies got handed out 15 months later.....oh well.] Wazza.

I've stared death in the face....he turned and walked away.
