Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons

The size and volume of the stock mufflers on the Gen2 probably allow the same flow as the R77. Hence the availability as an option in overseas markets.

Did you disconnect your battery and reconnect yet as I did?
A very easy test to see if it adjusts the mapping.
Worst that can happen is you need to reset your clock. 😀

Hey Bugso, yeah it sounds like high rev riding but in my case it's not. Maybe I just had bad luck with all the slip ons, but the fuel consumption/distance ratio always dropped. I did bring it up with my local Suzuki dealer on many occasions. Now I've done more work on my latest Busa I've thrown efficiency out the window :) and it feels great :)

Ok I've done a back to back test. Slip ons on 300klm/27ltr. Std mufflers 300klm/23ltr. Same riding to and from work, all highway.

That's one very thirsty busa in both situations.
I get between 320 & 350 from 17 litres. Even two up sticking to the speed limits. Although, I don't live in the city, which would probably explain your high consumption.
