Hi Everyone,
My son and I wanted to see how we could modify a stock exhaust on the 2014 Hayabusa 1300r without making it look suspicious.
First grind rivets on chrome cap. remove cap. cut through outer only - 15mm from end. then cut through whole muffler around 35mm from edge. see photos for additional bits.

Then test cut through middle to determine where to cut behind pipe which connects the middle section. Once determined, cut behind the pipe (tape to determine even cut).

Once out, should look like this.

Then push end section lip prepared earlier into the gap between inner and outer shell of now empty muffler.

Make sure you clean out some heat insulation to be able to fit it correctly.

Pop rivet chrome cap back on and then place 2 pop rivets each face to fix into the join and stop the end section falling off.
