Thanks for the idea Bat's,I like the way you have built the rail's.
Looks as though I may be trailering mine from Kal as The minister doesn't want to be on the bike for that leg of the trip. So I'm back to building myself, only i will be doing the trailer as my ute tray is about 4 foot off the ground and there is a roof rack over the my tray.

Trailering would be great for me too but the boat jumps form $93 one way with bike in the back to $460 one way towing a box trailer

took bike for a 350klm test run in back of 4x4... with all the bumps hills, corners and winds bike didn;t move an inch.
It did scare the missus a couple of times when when glanced backwards and saw a big yellow bike hard up our ass hahahahahahahaaaa
