Ya 200 is the Max, if you want to go and carve it up try a 180 and feel the force you wiil see how much quicker it is to tip in. I even went down to a 170 just to see how it felt, I liked it...........regards Richard

Supposed to be good if you read the marketing. There is a specially spec'd one for the ZX10. Don't know if there is a Busa spec tyre yet or the base spec will suit.

The Sportec M1 had a BMW spec and a Busa/ZX12 spec on top of the standard spec M1. The new Sportec M3 is supposed to have done away with the need for specially spec'd tyres. My info is that they have built it for the highest specs and it can go on anything. Blurb says it has more grip and up to 50% more mileage.
I will most probably fit these over the coming weeks when my tyre guy can get hold of a 190/50

he hpx is apparently designed for bikes such as the busa as zx12r etc built to handle big power/torque and give good mileage so far ive had a lot of fun on it

6000k's and plenty of meat left on them probably get 4000-5000 more km's out of them before wear markers. great tyre lotsa grip lotsa fun i prefer these to the 190 by miles whole bike feels more complete a package. ask heidi she liked the 200 rear

For what it's worth.
I bought mine with Pirelli Diablo Corsas.
They were probably more than 50% worn.
Did my first track day (ever, on any bike) with them and they were excellent as far as I could tell.
Lots of rubber chewed off and very impressive removal of chicken strips. Ditto the second session when they were knackered in the centre (probably because I had a go at drag racing too.
I was intenet on replacing with the same but the local Suzuki dealer suggested the HPX.
So I bolted some on and after two more track days, I'd have to say the grip feels as good, and the wear is less! That's purely subjective, but the beads of rubber seem smaller on the HPX. I also noted that at the drags, I'd never had wheelspin with the Michelin hoops, even though it was quite cool one evening. Standard tyre pressures too. My best run was 10.4 with a cool evening, std pressures, HPX tyres.
I'd have to say they seem pretty bloody good so far.
But I'm a relative newbie (even if I'm an old fart) so I'm sure there are others out there who have been there, done that, on more tyre brands and at faster speeds and quicker times. Listen to the lot and make a decision. Bit the same as the suspension threads really, lots of information, but I'm afraid there's no real one answer for these questions. By the time everyone agrees that the best way forward is "X", some other bugger develops a better tyre! Read the latest articles on Pirelli donuts for example!
