Back this morning. A big thanks to Tony and Brooksey for showing us around and accompanying us. Was a great crowd dont have to be big to be enjoyable. Had some probs with the bike but Suzuki Dealership Hobart really helped me out in changing the foul plugs whilst waiting for them to be done. A big thank you to them and a plug.

Heading off from Hobart Sat.morning I wasnt sure Id make it to Devonport. Around Campbell Town I was starting to get some noise from down below. Got worse and seemed to be the chain clanking all over the place, with just a hundred Kms.to go. I was crapping myself and praying it would hold up. Seemed happier at over 100 kmh. So didnt stop till ferry car park. Phew made it. Clanked all the way home from ferry but no longer cared was on familiar territory.

Moral of the story, check your bike better then I did in preparing for ride. I changed oil and filter but totally forgot about the plugs (could have been 50k old, outa sight outa mind). I waxed the chain but it wasnt in top condition at about 56k.

Look forward in seeing some of the footage by Wardy and Marko.

Definitely should be a yearly event.
