Your right on the money Viking.
Come on Rocketman you know I've got the slow model. That's must be why they last soooo long.
Cheers, Phil. Riding not talking.
Hey, I thought I was the only one who let tyres get so squared. I know it's time for a new tyre when I can get off the bike and it stands up by itself...
You guys need to get on some winding roads, like the reefton with an added bonus of snow!
So i've found the way to increase the life expectency of your tyres

That Hayabusa seems to think it's still a falcon.
Awesome photo though. Got it any clearer?

Was it taken with a mobile phone???
Is it your shot, Rod or one you found?

Hi,
I have the Michelin Pilot Sport Hpx on my busa, I received a lovely 13,000km before I got a flat... I found the tyres to be very good and sticky. My riding style my be different to other busa owners. I like my life hahaha and I am only 80kgs.
I am about to try the Metzler sportec m-1 tyres I think this time.
I did not have any issues with the pillot tyres, just don't let them go past the markers and ride across wooden bridges. That will cause huge problems in the flat tyre area.
Does anyone have any feedback about the Metzler tyres? I am going to try them and see how I go.
Warren.
hahaha, you're funny Richard.
[so square]
I don't like square tyres, wet roads and corners a whole lot...
Let's see how long these Diablo Corsas last
Not as long as the HPXs Jon.
6000 klms up on the Diablo Corsa and it's due to be replaced.
So true about the HPX. When they square off, it wheelspins wet and dry.
Front Dioblo Corsa now done 11500 klms and still looks good. (Real good)
Soon to start commuting. HPX rear here I come.
Cheers, Phil.
6000 kms on a rear corsa thats good, i was only getting 3500 kms on briggies
Regards Rob
But I'm old. And I ride slow.
