Day 1 looks to be a nice Sunday ride from Devonport to Swansea via Richmond LOL something we do EVERY day hahahaahahahaaaaaa

Is it easier if we do the trip on Saturday as soon as we get off the boat. Cath and I, Wayne and his crew, (at least 1/2 dozen), and then do the ride on the Saturday as you originally had planned. When Volvi gets off the boat Sunday(think he's on his own) he can catch us up. That way more of the Tassie crew will be able to do the ride as it's over a weekend?? We can organise a rendezvous stop mid morning with Volvi. Read

it doesn;t matter to me much as I can have the Monday off work... hell they are lucky I turn up at all Knuppel2

I am waiting to hear back from beach house owner to see if/when it could be on that weekend too, if not here are plenty of places to stay in Swansea. But I was hoping to use beach house and see if my wife could drive down on day 1 and get it ready for a dozen riders to stay at (there will be 2 double beds for the married couples Coolsmiley

I will just enjoy riding with every1 Biker

and trying to show you all some sights....

If Volvi wants to catch up an ddoesn;t mind long days on bike he should be able to get to Swansea by 9:30-10am on day 2.. then he will only have another 400 k's to ride Lol2

and as for Tassie riders, so far there is me, GOOFTROOP and ROD... I think we can be flexible with enough notice

It is with much regret that I have to inform all concerned that at this point TeamCazBaz cannot do this tour of Tassie... Frown

I have been absolutely busting my balls Pi_freak

trying to find a way to make this trip happen, but too many things are just going against us at the mo' - Cazgirl has lost her full-time work position / my boss won't extend the time off that we'd need to get to Tassie on or very close to the time that everyone else is getting there.....and a few other things are not lining up for us either, just to rub salt into the wounds!!

But, on a brighter note.....I do still have enough time away from work to do the WSB's at PI, the Afterburner Track Day (booked & paid today) Yes

, and with the couple of extra days we'll have off before we get to Phillip Island, we are hoping to catch up with a few of the Melbournesian members - with a very special pop-in on Timmy _O, to see how he's doing!!!

So I guess it ain't all doom and gloom for us, but we will be feelin' juzza tad jealous when it's happening and you guys are posting up a few pics on the fly!!!

Hope to see a fair few of you guys when you get back to the "other" island.....coz we'll be waiting for ya's (with a beer in hand) at the Continental Hotel at Cowes!! Beer

Yeah, most definately Tony......I've only been down in your isle once about 2yrs back, and only for a very fast & blurry 4 day cannon-ball run style!! The missus hasn't ever been down there, so we'll make it down in '16, me thinks!?!

Wow... 2016 huh??? U like thinking ahead lol... I might not still be here by then as we are thinking of moving to Cairns area late '15
Also I was hoping to get my tired ass to the WA Domination run in '15 too LOL might even be doing a very long way around ride from Tassie to Cairns via Perth. Show Triffstar how to really do it HAHAHAHaahahahahaaaaaaaa

Yeah mate......2015 is already booked out with a 2.5 month busa tour around the circumference (mainly coastline, with a few small inland deviations) of Oz (unfortunately, the trip at this stage won't be taking in Tassie, Uluru, or anywhere north of Cairns)....

This is my plan for getting to the boat on the Friday.
I drove the road last Saturday, bloody winding in a car! should be a good trip down, Couple of roads I hadn't done before so look forward carving them up.

What do You think Wayne? or any others. I haven't included the Black spur area in just because I reckon it's enough for 1 days riding. Plus gives us a cruizy ride thru Melbourne to the dock.

so how many are getting off the boat on Saturday the 15th? Should I consider changing my Saturday departure to Friday? Have you got planned routes and places to stay?
