Oh, okay, and my tyres are almost scrubbed bald from a few 200 mph runs recently. But I was polite and respectful and didn't lose any points or get a fine. So I consider myself lucky!
Anyone want to sell a stock gen 2 rear fender and plate holder?

I'll lend you one......(EDIT)only snag is I'm using the reflector/plate light part of it.
Okay, thanks Belzy, that'll get me out of the shit. But I still want one, return it to stock. Should have seen him looking at my bike, the stock pipes had him stuffed!
When do you need it? I can leave it at your place tomorrow, hopefully that vicious dog of yours won't eat it for more calories. As I said its only the plastic - the reflector and light are in use on mine.
.....and was the "non-standard" set up just a little bit "tricky"!?! In what kinda way!?! No need to divulge anything here, I'd be happy to receive a PM (...might save ME a lot of time, effort, money, and frustration!!)
Hopin' they leave you alone from now on......they really have much more important things to do with their time, don't they?!?

This is the defective bit - no red reflector or licence plate light (Yes, I feel much guilt over this).
Also shows wonderfully stock exhaust but not scrubbed rear tyre (guilty as charged).
Maybe I should refit the VF740F licence plate light and plate holder with guard extension (made from an old CX 500 inner gaurd) that I originally used to get the Busa registered!
Or follow Belzybub's lead and use a cutout from an old oil container.
they are a real sticker for that licence plate light and reflector.. I have never worked out why???
I stuck a red small reflector ON number plate with double sided tape.. for the plate light can you insert a small white LED under rear light assemble.. maybe drill a round unit into bodywork pointing down onto plate???
Looks you made that mount out of an old oven shelf. Are the Suzuki tail tidies legal? I believe they meet ADR or whatever is being used these days so they should be....just another option.
Smoke me a kipper I'll be home in time for breakfast

Suzuki Oz don't list them, so they still have to be sourced from the US. Straight bolt on replacement with original reflector and plate light.
I've just measured mine and its less than 45 degrees unladen, so it doesn't even need one of my slim arse cheeks on the bike to make it legal.
EDIT: I should have credited Rev004 for the suggestion.

I've got that FE on my bike like some of the others on here and I did have the paperwork from Suzuki under the seat which I had for a while and came in handy once. I was pulled over not long after putting mine on and the boy in blue looked at it and asked if that was the original item I said No it wasn't but it's an original part from Suzuki and showed them the paperwork and problem went away. Funny thing was that the copper mentioned how much better it looked than the standard one now that worked for me
