Previously I'd been using Braketech Axis Irons and was damn impressed by the braking force they generate, but now I've changed to the 330mm oversized irons.
Do they make a difference....holy crap yes!!.
I'm still bedding them in, but even still the difference is noticeable.
For any info on getting a set for yourselves, contact Ray@Easy Rider Imports - AHC member kawasuki
my originals by comparison on day of install.

I really like those. Must be a bit of a squeeze getting to your valves though. I have enough trouble getting my hand past the stockers.
Worth it for better brakes though.

For the oversized rotors, a ball park of about $1k.
Stock size are a couple of hundred cheaper.
I did want the CMC but were impossible to get at the time, and they are about $1800....per rotor!

Judging from the marks on the rotors it looks like at the pads are in contact way off the outer edge making that effective diameter close to the original one. I am guessing you are not using the OEM pads as there is also a non contact area in the middle of the disc. My thinking is that the smaller contact area between the pads and the rotor is resulting in greater force and hence greater friction. And it is that that makes them feel so much better not the diameter increase. Also bigger discs make the bike harder to turn due to larger rotating mass of the front wheel. Have you notoced any of this? Will be interesting to see how long they will last

Just wearing the gunkote off shifu. To start they are old pads and the contact will slowly wear even across the blades during the bedding process.
Only takes a few laps to do...this was after 1. Once done, new pads go on. What you see now, will not be the same as tomorrow.
my last set I got 54,000k's out of them and wore through the bobbins and carriers before the blades.
Bike harder to turn due to a larger rotating mass...fark shifu, and I'm the one stoned right now . look at my rims and the seriously reduced rotating mass they provide, then take off all the weight I lost from rims and rotors... and then complete the equation. It turns on a dime!

Yeah, i noticed the rims. My question is was whether you noticed any difference in turning assuming you had these rims with the original discs before

exactly the same shifu, I havn't noticed any difference in turn in. It would take someone as skilled as Stoner to be able to feel the change.

Ferodo. It's the only pads BrakeTech recommend.
I normally use the SinterGrip whch is what's on at the moment, however I also have some packs of xrac, which I'll be trying out later in the week.

I've actually got 3 sets of right angle valves in my toolbox, but have never had a problem with the straights so kept them as is.
.....besides, where's all the fun in easy.

I've got a couple of sets of right angles, so far I've got 1 on the Busa and one on the Honda. Trouble is I keep forgetting to grab them when I need a new tyre . . . It's like . . f***! I was supposed to put these on, oh well next time . . . next time! bike fails scruit. at track, put new tyres on . . .oh well next time!!! you get the idea. (now I need to buy a couple more - and keep them in the drawer next to the others! )
I don't want a pickle . . .
