Just heading into the boring bit, be able to pick up the pace once you cross the border.

Watch the copper's between Barkley Homestead and Threeways also in and around Daly Waters, if you're not going too fast they'll usually wave at you and signal to slow down as opposed to pulling you over, again that is speed dependent though..

Look out for big skippy's too..

Last time i was out that way it was a bit of a shock @ the border. The road triples in width & becomes smooth & all sorts of awesome compared to the 160 klms odd of what was mainly single lane bitumen goat track most of the way from Isa. Would a been a bigger shock coming from the NT into Qld though
