Updated the clutch cover. After 14 years the old one was pitted and worn.

Started with a cheap Chinese chrome one.

Weighed the bike at the drag strip. Absolutely full tank of petrol too.

Turns out this cover is RUBBISH! Leaks oil out of the cap/hole because the thread isn't drilled straight in to the cover. It's drilled on a whacky angle which means the oil cap doesn't sit flush. Had to stick it in with Silastic!

Couldn't you fill the gap with a fat section o-ring on the cap Pan?

Tried that CJ, but because of the angled entry onto the clutch basket, the o-ring would effectively be squeezed out the end that wasn't making contact with the cap
