Had a great time at Eastern Creek yesterday too! The bike corners and brakes like a dream, and we all know what it's like in a straight line (though a little better now with 55kgs less weight!). I just have to get much better skilled, more confident and smoother, and lap times should start to drop considerably!

Holy shit Pan I had no idea how much meticulous work you put into dropping that much weight. I wish I was a part of it, looks like this whole forum was your dream team. Amazing!

Just one question though, do you think it could have been easier doing this from a different direction: taking a little sportsbike and attempting to install a busa engine into it? Imagine losing all the weight you managed on something like a new model 1000cc - which when wet weigh around 45kg less than a wet busa - and still having busa torque? Or is that an ignorant and impossible suggestion? Because I'd love to do it!

Bump!

Bike's been great, although it's been unused for a few months. We've had another baby!
Unlikely I will use it much in the next year or two so will be up on this site for sale soon.

Hoping to sell it complete with race gear and trailer, but will consider parting it if it's not sold (or will just add the good bits to my road bike!)

Please send PM if interested
