My hayabusa is putting me thru depression, after 5 months of having the bike at a so called artists work shop and giving him over $2000 to get the job done, i get left with what i call "damaged" fairings...
2 weeks ago i went to pick up my fairings from this workshop only to find that all the stickers on the windows had been taken off and the door padlocked shit. I got myself in there to get what was mine only to find my fairings and tank very roughly rubbed back, draft design scribble all over them, and gouges out of the dash plastics from the tank sitting on them...
I take them to another workshop who offer to fix the mess, and today after only a week, get a rushed job that i still had to pay $1000 for, they have offered to re do the job but its not the point.
Ive given up on the bike, and am very keen to drop $4000 on buying all oem fairings and a new tank...
im getting the fairings put on tonight as the workshop cant fix the mess till late next week and all i wanna do is ride my bike.
im very depressed about the situation and so over it i dont know what to do, i guess im sayin it all on here cause im hoping some of you understand my pain cause my girlfriend and friends dont, they think its ok and i should just wait some more......im FUKING over waiting!

Give me a yell if you want to go for a ride.

Shit no good Jake, I thought it was a mate of yours?!
I too can say Calebs work is very good, but so's his fees....
You do get what you pay for, but your already heavily out of pocket.
I am not airbrushing mine before Tathra, at this rate I'll get my girl back 2-3 weeks before we all meet up. Still waiting on repairs etc to be finalized :(

Sometimes, (this has happened to me), there is quite a good legitimate way to re-start all over from square one. I found myself (similarly) on this occasion, being legitimately insured, when the bike fell over legitimately by being handled poorly by a third party in the course of a routine shop stay, and my legitimate insurance provided the legitimate compensation which resulted in my bike coming home as good as new. My insurance did not suffer, because they got the money off the other party. This might sound very off handed, if you are very attached to your bike and it would be a mental hurdle to get over. In my case, although I loved my bike dearly, I managed to get it back in top condition, which meant I could sell it at a minimal depreciation, resulting in my being able to buy a brand new bike. I have learnt that bikes, like houses, sometimes require an upgrade/maintenance and if you are not too attached, a total change over can be very good indeed. All done legitimately of course.
Just what I was thinkin-do a claim
& it returns all new-
B4 sexy fingers got to it
Good luck with it

thanks for all the support guys, ill post a photo of its current rough state when i get it back monday, ive herd of this place BIKECRAFT, seen there R1 at the GP last year. There expensive but the work ive seen from them has been pretty good and they have already had 3 or 4 cover shots in rapid magazine, im goin down there to get a quote tuesday.
Alchemist, ill probably will be in the same boat and wont have the bike done by the BUSABASH.
and guys, i have no insurance, being on P Plates no one will touch me with out me spending $3000-$4000 a year! and then they only cover me for $10000
A bottle of jack last night and some good company made me a lil less depressed about the situation, and ive decided to find someone to do it properly to exactly what i want, no matter the price, when the TL1000R sells, shes goin back in, 3rd time lucky!
