Airbox Question

Hey Guys, Me again ..

I pulled off the airbox to change the plugs and found a bolt has been jammed into 1 of the hoses that comes off the bottom of the airbox (outside pipe - righthand side sitting on the bike). Is this the pipe that people put the ball bearing into? What advantage does it give ??

its got to do with deaccelaration popping.when after market pipes are fitted,blocking this hose stops deaccelartion popping.

Yeah ,stops the backfiring Mate . My boy was Pissed off when I did it .
