Hello everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself as I have been browsing the site for the last few days. Live in Melbourne, bloke, 43 years old.

Thought it was time for a new ride, decided on a Busa, so just purchased a 2004. Pick it up tomorrow.Very Happy

Yep, it's purple.
Rode it home tonight, going to take a little getting used to after riding twins for years, so different, but awesome. Get the feeling I am just going to keep liking it more and more as I get more familiar with it. Very happy.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Good choice - we like the purple ones!
You wont take long getting used to it - just takes a decent ride in decent weather - maybe wait a few months?
Welcome and congrats - I see a pair of cans are on the horizon...

A nice set of cans are certainly on the wish list, but going to spend a little on suspension and set up first as I am a heavy bugger.
Forks were feeling a little soft and vague at their original settings so have just searched through some suspension threads about the standard forks being on the softly sprung side for us big fellas, so have adjusted the settings and will see how it feels tomorrow.Very Happy
