A visit to Bodie Historic Ghost Town at 8300 ft. This place was all about gold, and a lot of it.

10,000 people once lived here, fascinating slice of history



To reach Bodie, we ride several miles of hard pack

We call this section of road 'the racetrack', it's brand new pavement for about 8 miles & 0 traffic! Smooth!

Strikingly awesome countryside and what fantastic roads. I went to Yosemite about 20 years ago, but unfortunately I did it in a hire car from San Fran. in the rain Would love to do all that area on a bike. From the number of multiple trips people do with you you must be doing it right!
