picked the bike up last week
from port macquaire, what a beautiful
bike to ride, after coming from the old xs
to the new busa is a big change, initially i had
to get used to the peg position, when i went
to put my foot on the pegs i missed it by a cpl of inches, lol
after 5 hours of riding and getting caught in peak hr
traffic on the way home, that sorted that out, the only discomfort i felt was some stiffness between the shoulders but nothing to drastic.
hopefully the weather clears up sooner rather than later
looking forward to catching up with a few of u for a ride.

Awesome news, Pete....Congrats!!! Clap Pi_thumbsup

Did it come with the Ventura rack? If so....you're all set up, ready for the run to Tathra in December for "The Busa Bash" (...a GREAT way to meet up with LOTS of fellow club members in one hit!!)

If you're coming down our way (Illawarra/Robertson/Kangaroo Valley/etc) for a ride soon, give Dale and myself a couple of days notice, and we'll try to meet-up with ya for a quick spin!! BikerBikerBiker

keep it fun,

Good to see you landed the bike of your dreams!
Take it easy and ride to your potential, not the bike's potential (none of us can most of the time)

Bet it's more than peg position you'll notice between an '81 bike and your new 'busa. It takes a while before you get used to how touchy that throttle is. Then after the 'busa feels normal, when you get back on the XS you'll wonder where all the power has gone.
I've got my 81 CBX and a busa, chalk and cheese, but I love riding both.
welcome to the club, and enjoy that beautiful Gen1.Yes
