Yeah that ute's been around for a while now. Im a very keen airial spotter, and have seen him in his sneaky fluro vest. It's a bloody sport down here. I love it.

With the ever increasing amount and variety of unmarked vehicles that our police forces are using lately.....it's wise to treat virtually ANY oncoming or overtaken vehicle as a potential threat to the loss of your license.....they ARE getting sneakier by the minute!!!

Like Beau says.....it IS a game, of sorts.....ya juz gotta try to KNOW (ie: recognize) your OPPOSITION!!!

Isn't it funny, well my experiences anyway, when your riding, I treat the slightest thing like an airiel on any vehicle with the greatest suspision. 1st you notice the Aerial, then the Heavy Tinting, then the two upright blokes in the front, then the red/blue lights just faintly behind the heavily darken tinted rear screen. A dead set givaway when you spot them first. I tend to give them a friendly wave without a return gesture mind you.

I love it when the smart arses follow or park at lights in your blind spot, I always see them but never move my head. Let them sit there while I'm doing nothing wrong for ages, then out of nowhere look at them as if to say I knew you were there the whole time buddy. Then they get shitty cause they realize I've been hip all along to them, and they just stare at me at take off for the next victim... Lol. I shouldn't push cause I'm mayoralty up on them at the moment...

We have a few "covert" traffic cars in Canberra, utilities with the roll bar with red and blue lights mounted inside the bar.

Then we have a plethora of unmarked AFP cars floating around with coppers on other duties in them. Canberra is after all, the home of the AFP, both Nationals and ACTPolicing.

Any of them will pull you up if you do something really silly in front of them.

The covert cars will pull you up forpretty well any traffic infringement.

The only thing that keeps us from being booked all the time is knowing the time and place to have a little fun and that inludes not doing stupid shit in traffic.

Been a brown/gold Holden Rodeo Ute on the gold coast for ages. Has tool boxes, roll bar etc. Once you have seen it it sticks out like dogs balls afterwards. Regularly parked on Christine Av, Cottesloe Rd and Clagiraba Rd always pointing west just after the first set of bends as you turn off the Nerang Murwullinbah Rd

I saw a stealth cop ute between Daylesford & Lyonville a couple of weeks ago, they like the Turbo Territory's too....they love those green metallic commodore "sportswagons" (stationwagons) as well.

They are all out there flat out raising revenue to cover their huge pay rises !! Big Ted should have taken a page out of old Henry Bolte's industrial relations black book when he told the teachers union "they can march up & down till they're blue in the face, no pay rises here" !!!!!!!!!

Come on Rev... Your talking about the folk that have to sieve though your bodily fluids when there is an accident, they're the guys people call for help with domestic violence, the people you call for help. Do they sting us when we are doing stupid shit? Sure they do. Are there some mongrels amongst them? Absolutely, but that, my good friend, is a shit job and I recon they don't get paid nearly enough. If my kids need the cops one day, I want to know that they are commited and focused. That can only come when they receive a rate of pay that is relative to the tasks that they are expected to perform at the highest standard. Same for the nurses.

Big Ted needs to have his head read. Giving money to the bloody arts community and running a pointless surplus whilst screwing the folks that keep Victoria moving.. What that arse is doing to the public education and health system is beyond reproach. Giving the coppers unrealistic quotas to fulfill to cover the lack of restraint. Did a bit of a lap around from Truganina down to Altona along to Hoppers Crossing then back to Truganina To scrub in some new tyres lucky to be 15ks round trip but was pulled over 3 times for licence check and i did not have the thing on me they told me they were having big blitz in this erea for rest of week

Saw the unmarked ute on the eastern freeway this morning. White base level falcon ute with sports bar. Just another one to look out for I guess.
