Current prices here in NZ are 21.5 for a Busa and the ZX14 is still 24k and I wonder why Kawasaki are'nt doing too well....?

My 25 cents , Undecided

Bro I sympathise with you cause with those prices(in NZ)I expect no one would be doing well!!!!!

Shame we can't buy in the US. Out the door prices under $12k...and that means close to $11.5 AUD!

Damn, why does my arse hurt whenever I look at Australian pricing for just about any imported item???

Was talking to someone in the US who walked away from
a brand new B-King, ride away, at US$8,000 because he
could get a better deal elsewhere !

Thats good buying for Australian. The current RRP on a GSXR600K11 is $15690, GSXR750K11 is $16990. You could probably talk them down a bit but I know whats better value.

Retail for a new 'Busa in NZ is $21.5k , Retail for a slab of VB I bought today ( 24 stubbies, 375ml ) was $NZ36.00 and , that's the standard price .

Thought I'd throw the beer thing in just to equate the commodity thing and maintain a bit of balance..Coolsmiley

What do you mean there? I haven't been keeping up, but are big bikes like Hayabusas going to die out?

I do not think they are going to die out but the so called "globalization" f%ucked up many good manufacturers. If you consider the cost cutting at Suzuki - as evident by having one bike at Moto GP for example or even Honda runiung only two next year, times are tough. I do not suppose they will be spending any money soon on giving us the next generation busa. At the same time the prices of spares are completely crazy, and as we are stuck with what we got, buying a brand new bike at such price for spares could be a cheaper option.

No doubt! Buy a New Busa even at local prices, part out the motor to a buggy driver and then put the rest on Ebay. It should give you at least a x2 return on your investment.

Quite possible. An unregistered/crated bike would be even cheaper.
I saw it done in the UK quite a few times,
and there are wreckers in the US doing it now with B-Kings.

That's 2G's less than what I paid last year. That's got to be worth a substantial saving towards that OS trip! White is a great stand-out colour...I have the black, but for the money, it's a great bargain no matter how you look at it. Goes to show that good things come to those who WAIT!
