yes , a few weeks ago i felt my rear tyres was a little funny after exisiting the twisties , i pulled up at the servo about 20 minutes later and found it had 8psi in it , no puncture just a slow leak.
No nigel I felt it funny on the way to meet you and Bill at Maccas. By the way I spoke to Craig White and he said the BT015 is he thinks is replaced with 016 so he would get back to me but as yet he hasn't tomorrow he will. and as far as my rear tyre goes he said it may have had great work well words to that efect. I'm going to do some more pressures checks tomorrow as I cannot do any more to my suspension I think.

Yesterday finding I had hardly any rear brake pad left. Today I decided to check the front pads. They too are just about stuffed. The other owner must have been braking a lot or maybe this is the norm for Hayabusa's.
Anyway checking the front pads I seen the dam adjuster for the compression damper force which I never touch as I didn't read or mist that bit in the booklet. So I turned the left side adjuster in counting as I went and it was 8 clicks in, I set up this to 7 click out.
THEN I CHECKED THE RIGHT SIDE FRONT AND IT i COULD ONLY TURN IN 2 CLICKS. I then set it the same as the left side settings 7 clicks.

I'm sure this would have given me the feeling that my tyres were not right OR not????????

With the difference in compression on each side would that give me some problems in cornering?????????

After reading these posts, a few things spring to me brain injured head.
Busas are meant for 2 types of riding. 1) Drag Racing 2) Touring.
The way most of you blokes are talking (writing), I reckon you should have bought Fireblades or Gixxers.
I went to that pie shop once & once only. Bunch of weekend city riders was all I could see there, and to top it off, I had to wait for my maggot bag. Busas were never meant for the "twisties". Public roads around twisties are very unforgiving, if you want to do that shi* on "weekends", go to a racetrack. Sorry, I've seen too many young cripples, & two of em got wiped out near that pie shop plus another older bloke who was a Ducati dealer who I met at the Ryde Brain Unjury Unit in his wheelchair who also got wiped out near "that pie shop", he was not a happy man.

Agreed and a great point when it comes to what the Busa is meant for. If it belonged to the TRACK, everyone(pro and amateur) would be racing on one.
The Busa is pitched towards quite a BROAD spectrum of use and tastes. You can drag/tour or just pose with some thousands of dollars of bling. The beauty of this bike is that each can tailor it to suit, precisely for the intended use. For me, it's just a gorgeous, even brilliant all-round bike which has the speed and power punches like Muhamad Ali. It also looks: The Greatest!

While you are certainly entitled to your opinion ,
sorry but I have to disagree Pi_tongue

To say Busa's are only for two types of riding is total BS .
To say they are not meant for twisties is almost laughable .
I've had many GSX-R's but just wanted something more comfortable .
I ride twisties on my KTM690 Motard nearly everyday which is heaven but still no problem doing it on the Busa as well Coolsmiley
Just a different style of riding that's all .

I remember back in the day riding the same twisties on a Suzuki Katana 1100 which was the bee's knees then . Compared to today's modern Busa it's a dog Lol3

While I agree the track is the best option , the weekend warrior will never stop . It's done all around the world & why most buy bikes .
Is it right ?? No but a young lad will buy a VE SS Commodore & do the same . It's just the way it is .
Will people continue to die on public roads - yes .

I work in a morgue & see daily the carnage & end result .
The pain & misery death brings to relatives .
But I've continued to do what I love .
I see people who haven't done anything to put themselves in harms way only to die of Cancer etc .

The biggest thing that annoys me more than anything ,
the Government continuously goes on about the road toll to justify "speed detection devices" etc

When more people in Australia kill themselves from suicide - fact !!
But depression , metal illness & suicide there is no money to be made .
