removed handlebar risers

Hey guy's I've got an 04 Busa with a 25mm spacer and the oxford heated hand grips.
I'm 6ft1'' and feel the benefits of both if I hop on a mates' Busa without these 2.
I think the larger oxford grips stop my hands from becoming sore.
I'll definitely be using the Helibars and the grips on my new one coming.:)

I have often thought that Suzuki need to come out with an optional set of bars (and lines) that are 50mm up and 50mm back.

The stock ergos on the Bus are just stupidly low.

I must be the odd one out Confused
my bike had the risers but I was getting wicked pins and needles across my shoulders and down the back of my arms but now that I have removed them I have no more problems at all and the busa feels better to ride[to me ].I do have the buell footpegs that are great. Also with the risers I felt like I was sitting on top of the bike more than in it.
Every ones different I guess + I'm not as tall as a lot of others here.

Im 6ft.
Had two faired Busa's and on every ride over 500k's
I was getting aches in my right shoulder, and pin's and needles
in my right hand, mostly thumb.

Never had this drama in the past, (upright naked bikes) so one
Busa got Renthals, one got traded against a B-King.
Done a few longer run's, including 2 at 950Ks and 2000K's over
a long weekend. Naked bikes suit me and I can run longer in
comfort than with stock bar's behind a fairing.

Did look at a new "2010 $16,490" Busa last week.
I might have to try higher bars / spacers if I ever get one.

Never tried the Buell peg / lower peg mod.
Dont you lose ground clearance ?

I run risers and helibars on my bike. I'm 5 10, and they make the bike very comfy.

Dropping the pegs makes a big difference, as well.

I used to have this same setup and it made a huge difference to the riding comfort and I am only short. The buell pegs dont really change clearence due to their design, maybe its an age thing, when I was younger I liked the lean over style, not anymore.
