GI Pro Wiring Help Needed
#1
Hi guys,
I originally tacked this question onto an older thread, but due to lack of response, I will start a new thread.

I bought a 2nd hand GI Pro / ATRE gizmo but it has no wiring diagram. I gather the two plugs just plug in somewhere and the red wire must be for power, but I don't want to "play" and wreck my bike. If anyone has a diagram they can copy and send me it would be much appreciated.

To be totally honest I am not 100% sure it is for my bike. I may have just gathered it was for a gen1 when I bought it. Is there some way I can tell ??

Thanks in advance guys ..

Dale

Dale , what you need for your 2001 is a gipro S01/S02. I have a copy of the installation & operation instructions. If You send me a Fax No I'll send you a copy of both . If you can't get something off the net give me a call

Thanks Pete / Carbonbusa

Pete, I'm off work at the moment so dont have access to a fax. If you could fax to Carbon and he could email to me that would be great.
I'm not even sure if I have the right unit, but what is the worse that can happen ? .. GIPro won't work, GIPro blows up, Busa blows up ????
My email is :- dalegibbons99@yahoo.com.au
Thanks heaps gentlemen ..

It would have to be for a gen 1 as they would not have made a Gi for a gen 2 as gear ind is standard on gen 2 .

lift tank and at rear of tank left lide you will see 3 pin plug to unclip and conect to your gi pro then red whire to positive of battery

What Rod said is correct re plug's under the left side with tank up .There are 2 x White triangular connectors with 3 pins in them .The one you want is .From memory ( Check ), The one coming from the main loom where one of the 3 wires is Pink . Or give me a call tomorrow mate & I'll Explain . 0418 841 783. After 9-30 am .

Thanks Pete and Rod Pi_thumbsup,
How easy was that !! .. All in and working fine Trophy

Bob,
Sorry mate, I wasn't ignoring you .. honest.
I did go to the healtech site as you suggested. If you go to downloads and select the 2001 model busa, the GIPro with ATRE doesn't have a download associated with it. The speedohealer does ?? and also the unit below it. It may well have been my PC that wouldn't show the icon .. who knows.

Thanks again guys .. My first bit of bling Boobies4
