Great day guys and many thanks for the help with the radiator...was good just to have you guys there! Thanks Ian I will ring those...got the yellow pages out and there is a mob in Malaga who specialise in performance radiators...they may be able to help. Will rip the old one out and take it in to see what they say.
Oh! thanks Kris for the text...yeah did get home but by the end those traffic lights were a pain! and the temp gauge was on its way up...I was lucky that I was able to ride her home from Beverley hey?

Well I got the radiator off and took it to a mob in Malaga who reckon its fixable...but heres the kicker...they won't guarantee the repair because it isn't welded its something they call alluminium soldering. I am a little worried that it may fail again when out on a long ride but what can you do? a new one will cost an arm and a leg and a bollock too probably. I know I will be getting a radiator guard now! Thanks for the offer Ian.

Wow Steve, have you tried seeking a second hand one from MC Plus or Two Wheel Wreckers?
Also there is a mob in Balcatta that used to fix ally radiators they are based on Balcatta Rd. They did an Ally Rad for me many years ago and I didn't have trouble post repair.
Though what kind of coin are they seeking for the repair?
I'll check some contacts if you like and see what they have to say. Whats the damage look lik, is it a stone through the radiator? Post some pic's or pm me.

I got it fixed and back on....$40:00 for the repair. I straightened loads of fins out filled her up and so far no leaks. Rooboy thanks for the offer...I did see the Balcatta mob and if I need to I will go down the second hand radiator path. Apparantly Mr Suckzuki uses such low silicone ally for his radiators that it is too soft to weld. I didn't take any pics but it was a split in the second to top tube about an inch in from the filler cap side. A stone has obviously hit it good enough to force the tube to pop open. A tiny split really and if not for pressure it would have dribbled. Good job I changed my coolant as there was a small amount of corrosion starting to build up in the outlet....every two years from now on!
I have ordered a rad guard from BGW...they have gone down in price...$99:00 delivered...any colour you like as long as its black!
Ian you said you managed to fit yours with just one side off yes? I am going to fit all my plastics back on in about an hour...will wash the bike first. I have loads of chips on the lower fairing...am going to get some of that colour co-odinated polish to hide them.
Thanks for the help guys and till next time...I will be taking it easy this time though!! and leaving a bigger gap...all those chips...on the forks too!

I did manage by just removing the RHS, but if you can also get the centre section out then it should be a POP.
