As i was reading your post I knew it was a flat Idiot2
I too unfortunately have had two flats in quick succession and both at speed recently ..Biker

It would have been prettty scary at speed!
I've never had a flat whilst riding. So I'll file the experience away.
Gonna replace front and back.

Gee Wardy glad all is OK I myself have never had a flat whilst riding but reading this jogged one of my memories from many years ago.

My mate had a beautiful restored CB1100RC and him and I swapped bikes so I could ride a legion (have ridden plenty of the old girls but never an RC) anyway I set off down the road sitting on the magical ton when my mate come screaming past me on my GSXR1100.

I thought to myself f....k he's moving with the big thumbs up when he came past only to watch the arse end of my own bike start to step out sideways whilst he was over taking the car in front of us. My first thought was what the hell is he doing but then things got worse with the bike stepping completely sideways and I'm sure he was looking straight into window of the car he was passing but somehow the bike pulled striaght and he managed to pull the bike over.

Upon inspection and a lot of spoke coming from the arse end of the bike we found that the tubeless valve had ripped out so the tyre went down in a instance and to this day my mate still doesn't know how he kept the bike upright. My old 1100 got the nick name the Widow Maker but after seeing that I have always run metal valves which reminds me I need to put some in the Busa next time I change tyres.

Anyway happy motoring and stay safe.
