Two Brothers Carbon cans
#1
Now if there are two of this post its cause I stuffed it up.

I am considering the Two brothers carbon slipons from the Yanks. They are $750:00 delivered and with the Au dollar so good I reckon they are a bargain. Any on here tried them??

they look good, I saw them in Springwood Suzuki a while ago but their price was around $1600 from memory, so at $750 thats very good buying. Remember with any exhaust change the bikes needs to be dynoed to get it running spot on again. I did have a two brothers can on my DR650 and liked it.

Steve, I had these on my 08 for 18 months or so Pi_thumbsup.
I loved the sound, very deep & throaty, quite a differnet sound to other slip-ons. No dyno after fitting, stock ECU & o2 probe compensate.
Quality was good, IMO about 90% when compared to yoshi R77 carbon. Mine only saw sunlight when out riding (not parked outside all day etc) and they didn't show signs of discolouration.

Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Hi Aussie Steve not to chuck a spanner in the works but maybe check out the attached website.

I do agree with the guys about the 2 Brothers System and did hear Leviathans 08 when he had it and have to agree with what he has already mentioned, I thought it sounded very Nice Pi_thumbsup. One of my mates also has them on his B King as well and that sounds nice as well. If you want to hear what they sound like let me know as I know that he's thinking of coming to the Mocha/Coffee night on the 1st of Dec and if you were thinking of coming I would try and get a definite answer from him to come.

Anyway all in all a Nice sounding muffler at a good price, with BGW you also get free delevery as well so may pay to add that into the equasion as well.

I have been looking for quite a while and have come across that site too. I still prefer the Two brothers setup...personal choice...I am hoping to make the Left Bank but as yet cannot make an absolute commitment.

Hi Steve, I am also looking at the same exhaust, which model are you getting? I want the M2 Titanium canisters for mine which a little more expensive, around the $1000 mark but I feel you only get them the once. Where is the states are you purchasing yours from?

Hi Kylie

I ended up bidding on and winning a pair of Aluminium shorty cans and mid pipes. Got the lot for $420 Au delivered. I missed out on the carbon ones, asked the seller if he had any more to which he said yes, then found the ones I got for $299 American + shipping. The Ebay seller I found the carbon ones at is on my saved list at home so i will post later today. There are heaps American sellers...I searched using the following parameters Two brothers exhausts Hayabusa in motorcycle parts. I reckon you can get the set you want for a deal less than $1000.00...some even have best offer available.

^ ^ Arrived and fitted yesterday. Good quality, very light (the whole box weighed less than one of the OEM mufflers) but a little loud. I am going to get a set of the suppressors from a mob in O,Connor...hopefully tonite...cost $59 au so its not too bad. One problem there is no bracket for the side stand to hit so I had to make my own....luckily for me I had some stainless lying around to use!

BTW Kylie there are several Titanium sets currently on Ebay at 7 to 8 hundred American.
