The way we ran it last year was pretty well what we expected to do this year guys. The BOTY awards woulkd be a lovely idea.

What we did for sponsorship last year was to get around and speak to suppliers from the Vendors section of the site, the owners of our local bike shops and other businesses to get prizes from them that we then held a raffle at the pub in Tathra, we all bought tickets and then drew the prizes. The winners got the prizes and we were all happy. - The proceeds went to a charity Heidi sorted out.

Do we want to do the same thing again this year?
Great way of having some fun with money going to charity.

How about I speak to my Trophy supplier here and see what he's charging for modest trophies for a BOTY?

I know BK has offered to put some trophies up, and it is an incredibly generous offer too!!! .....but, since this is the first year that these awards might be done, why don't we juz "Keep It Simple, Stupid" (KISS) this 1st year....and if its well-received..."Ramp It Up" for next year (trophies)?!?

These could be given out as "certificate" awards this year (great for hangin' up on the wall!) and made up on the 'puta / printer / laminater!

Corbin, i would be more than happy to whip them up for you as per your exact requirements, if we go this way! (ie: i've done a shit-load of these for my work social-club)

I personally think this is a great idea , coz it will promote and encourage "pride of ownership" which i've noticed is a pretty big thing amongst bike owners/riders, generally!!

So....what do the rest of the Busa Bash crowd reckon??? Are we gonna do this?
