Why don't they concentrate on those mobile boat anchors (Harley) with the straight thru pipes?? I'll bet they break EPA Noise Regs before any Jap four cylinder bike!! Jap bikes even sound good...Harleys sound like a wet fart at the best of times.

Just as I installed a set of Brock's Alien Heads too.

I think it's time a "Loud Pipes Save Lives" campaign started in Vic to coincide with the blitz,

or maybe a cop can follow me to and from work everyday for a week and charge all the cagers on the freeway who continuosly jump lanes and nearly sideswipe me from not looking and can't hear my stock bike.

What right as a rider do I have to protect my own life and be heard on the road because I know I am not seen?!!!!!!!!!

Good point biker boy.

I noticed a big difference in how cars are now aware of my presence due
to upgraded pipes.

You know how it goes, any way for these guys to make another dollar.

Well, I've never really gone for an exhaust stack on me Busas cause it makes more noise, after all, unless it's a straight out the side zero muffler exhaust stack turbo busa, which it's never been, the vast majority of the noise your exhaust stack makes goes aft (astern) of ya Busa, so it is totally useless to warn drivers in front, or to the side of your presence or location. HOWEVER (take note Kev), the NSW RTA, The Queensland Transport Department, The Victorian, Western Australian and all other Transport Departments are in fact severely NEGLIGENT in the fact that the GUTLESS HORNS THAT THEY PERMIT TO BE SOLD WITH ALL STOCK BIKES IN AUSRTRALIA SHOULD BE FUC*IN BANNED !

The Australian Mentality: Blow your horn to warn some idiot talking on their mobile of your approach, or some idiot on a pushbike that's got no rearview mirrors of your approach, or some idiot cage driver that moves to drive over the top of you when changing lanes cause their too lazy to look and;
1) 95% of the time they can't hear your stupid little zero decibal Australian Government Approved stock horn & they keep doing what they're doing. Run over the top of you to try and kill ya.
2) The 5% of the time the idiot cage drivers or push bike riders with no rear view mirrors hear your Gutless Australian Government Approved Stock Motorcycle Horn they get all offended and turn around and stick their fingers up at ya.
FUC* THE COMMUNIST LABOR GOVERNMENT MUTHAFUC*ERS, WE NEED ALL THE NOISE WE CAN GET ! Buy a loud Duel Electric Air Horn from Auto Pro. It helps, but the cage drivers still get offended.

The Asian Mentality; Never get offended by the use of a horn on their vehicles. Everybody does it. Don't be affraid. Push the button.Coolsmiley

If they do away with rear facing speed camera's and be understanding on speed I'll go to stock pipes immediately.

Yes. We should all bloody well wake up to ourselves and stop riding those noisy two-wheeled death machines. I for one shall don the safari suit and hang a new pine-fresh deodoriser to the Corolla's rear vision mirror before tootling off down the freeway at a safe and respectable 15 kmh below the speedlimit. When I get home I'll treat the 195 All-Rounders to some tyre black.

In the dead of night I'll slip out for an extended fat on the deregistered Busa at full song through the dormitory suburbs. As I switch from Mode 'A' (Apathy) to Mode 'B' (Belligerent) my EE2 mapped ECU will open the exhaust valves hidden in the shells of the standard exhaust so I have a FUCKEN LOUD exhaust note and a suitably tuned fuel map to cope with my de-throttled donk.

Oops, don't forget the flares and heatsoak blankets for the thermal imaging cameras! Now where did I stash those sidewinders?

I'm glad we have a government so determined to save us from ourselves. Medicate me Nicola; please, I can't stand it anymore.

Camel you have moved me into a sorry state. I must have SORRY for my number plate it may make a great speed camera shot and appease the caged as I pass by. Maybe I should just hand myself in as a serial speeder and join meals on wheels for my community service.

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Well done Heaven.

But it isn't over yet. First you'll need to buy some of those long johns with the button up flap at the rear..... cause you're gonna be the 'entertainment' for the soup kitchen patrons!

Oh yes, they're gonna make you feel sorry alright!
