I just got done today on double demerits, so that's me on good behaviour for a year.

Seems a strange system - I was 5 years away from a clean licence, but this way I get a clean licence in a year.
Or 3 months if I take the time off of work and don't need to drive. It's the least painful ticket I've had.
Carpe Diem!

80kmph speed zone-----an idiot, 100kph zone I may understand it.

Unregistered------------No CTP Insurance paid----a double idiot.
That makes him worse than all the idiots on the roads on pushbikes with no CTP Insurance & no review mirrors.

170kmph----I don't know the road, but it is probably not safe for that speed allowing for animals jumping across the road & all.

Exceeding 145kmph----why do ya think that shiela says to me in her pommie voice from the C100 when I'd get to 140kmph "Overspeed". Some would say, "Because ya can't set in to 145" as a member of 18yrs of the NSW Highway Constabulary advised me on a previous run in as per the "Anti Hoon Legislation".
String him up, if anybody deserved it. He did.UndecidedLol2Pi_thumbsdown
While they're at it: Burn his bikePi_thumbsup

Yes indeed, the Australian Government, are in fact---DRUG DEALERS--- Johny Corward, Kevin Crudd, the whole lot of em. They make far too much money on booze tax to change the legislation.
The drunk woman driver that wiped me out got a $400 fine & $70 court costs and an 18 month suspended sentence where she never has to go to jail.
FACT: All drunk drivers are Attempted Murderers. But until they change the Legislation, they'll just keep doing it.
Check this out: Not one jailed & higher fines for exceeding the posted speed limit than drink driving. They say "Drink Driving, It's a Crime" but it is in fact a Fuc*in Joke ! 21, & not 1 of em jailed.

When something directly effects you, but not directly enough as per Kevin Crudd, you'd reckon they'd do something about it, but they'd loose too many drunk driver votes, and booze tax.

Somethings Directly affect YOU, but it is not until certain things directly effect YOU that you just don't forget. Please don't tell me to "get on with ya life" or start stumin ya violin.
You know, a few days ago Ray put in a post because the Highway Patrol had directly effected him in his life. 3 days ago I seen one of that "Offenders" victims parents on TV, and low & behold--they said exactly the same thing as Ray(Kawasuki) did, because they, unlike 90% of the general public with their views were DIRECTLY effected.

This is known as THE DIRECT EFFECT;

Cheer up guys, looking forward to my ride after Easter when those double demerits are over.Wtf
