here are some pics of the rims done by HiOctane from this site. Its not chrome and its not polished, Its a chrome look ceramic coating. The sprocket is chrome tho.

Ill put pics later of my rearsets and custom exhaust hangers he coated in satin black.

Mate, the bike's lookin great! A really good project to follow, thanks for sharing it with us. Where did you source the tail? Are you going to have rear foot pegs? Do you need to have an engineers certificate for rego?

thanks phil.

the aluminum subframe is from the us. the guy who built the LRG gen2 (here) built it for me.
I didnt buy a kit i just bought the rest seperatly thru suzuki or ebay etc and made it fit.

Im not having rear footpegs although its structurally sound to have them. The mrs rides too so I hardy use them.

I don't think so. Try greggs cutoms in the us. I think they make a similar item now

Hi guys,

got a raw finish hugger today I'm a about to cut back to fit with the refined gixxer look.
Also ordered billet mirrors and tyres today.

Hopefully a 2 weeks till it's done!

Well the painter hasn't contacted me so it looks as if he has foot the bill above what he quoted.
It's supposed to be ready on Wednesday so I'll just wait and see.

Would've been better if I didn't have to work the next day...I could've sat around smashing JB & Coke to wash the meal down (had the barramundi...bloody nice!).
