Grunt welcome back mate ................. good to see ops normal.
Now given 4 x EGT gauges will set you back about
$1000 , a PCV and module to control the secondaries about
$700 and an XTRE at around
$245 then another say
$300 as a base figure to build a custom map, then an Auto tune at another
$250 , gives us a total of around
$2500.00
with 6 or 7 after market items fitted to the bike to get what an ECU flash can give you with more features with no added components needing to be fitted for
$450 (With custom built fuel map included)
Then factor in that EGT gauges have only any accuracy at "Constant throttle settings" (hence why used extensively in aviation where a constant prop pitch and throttle settings are applied in cruise flight)
In a dollar for dollar comparison NOTHING gets even close to flashing, and thats without even speaking of the other cost savings of around
$2000 if one then wants to Eliminate Pair System, Control NOS application, Control an auto shifter, have ability to run seperate FUEL MAPS for different applications and MORE.
Well as they say Grunt talks cheap ............... so hence the challenge ......... bolt on all the goodies and spend your two or three grand on parts and labour and I'll equal your Hp output and performance for
$450 GUARANTEED
Flashing isn't good for the VENDOR in the making dollars department but's it's certianly GREAT for the customer
So as said you can either buy and fit 4 x EGT gauges, a PCV an AUTO TUNE add on, a SECONDARY TUNE add on, an XTRE a SHIFTER CONTROLLER then hope they all work ok or just
FLASH IT
Flashing >>>>>>>>>>>>>> it's what you do when you don't have money to waste

Footnote !
Power commanders do work (I do not question that) ............... Flashing just gives you much more for less dollars spent.
