Where Does The IAPS? Attach
#1
Just got the old beast started after 4.5 Years. Now I can't remember

or work out where the IAPS(I think it is) mounts. Tried to attach a pic

of the lil bugger but no good................any ideas on what it is bolted

to appreciated.

Cheers Graeme.
A bit of extra info, it sits somewhere underneath the two left side throttle bodies,

it's a little black box and it's connected the fuel pump via a black hose......

hope that helps.

Any locals(DRW) with the "Classic" Busa that wouldn't mind me looking under their

tank, please let me know.

Cheers Graeme.

There's a bracket bolted to the inside left hand frame spar, it mounts on that.

Unless its the Map sensor your looking at then it mounts to the airbox.

Useless post without pictures, it could be f..king anything.

sounds like the vac solenoid for the airbox flapper, using the same vac source as the 99-00 fuel pressure reg
2 wires going to it orange/white and a tan ?

Back of Airbox, left side, phillips head screw! Pi_thumbsup

Actually you can mount it anywhere as long as it is secure (not cable tied), especially good if you pull the airbox off a bit.

Thanks Leonard and everyone else.

Looked at the airbox and it's pretty bloody obvious,

the mount recess in the airbox is the same shape as the

attach bracket for the sensor..amazing that. So fitted the

airbox (had to make new foam seals for the ram tubes) and

it's looking good.
