its a face only a mother could love (or in this case an owner)

personally they are butt ugly,
then again i changed the gen 1 rear end as well just like many others have done here, it seems the busa has always been a bit of an ugly beast, non the less i love my gen 1

Personally i love it.
Heres something different.........it actually reminds me of the Yank Tanks of the Capone era, what with those curves etc.

Can you see what i mean?????

I've grown to like it. It does look better with a fender eliminator (no mudguard), and I prefer it with the factory mufflers for appearance. It looks 'a bit fat' when the bike only has a small single muffler (like a brock). I like the fact that it has an individual appearance that gives itself presence on the road. No one confuses it for any other model of bike.

The gixxer thou tail conversion can look good, even if it makes the proportions of the bike look out of balance.
If it's too loud....You're too old!
If it's too fast....You're too old!
If it's too sexy....You're ???

Wow biggy,

At the start of this thread I thought for a little while there you were gonna start WWIII !?! Pi_freak
So I decided to throw a little bit of (not so) subtle (Susan Boyle) humour in to help kick it along........BUT, at the same time, I was also hoping to make a very valid correlation point in regards to...."true & absolute beauty"! And I'm fairly certain a few picked up on where I was going with this.....

Strictly aesthetically speaking, I'm guessing a high percentage of the worlds' population (but definately not all) would agree that, "SuBo" has, quite sadly, been whacked with not just one....but the biggest "ugly stick" known to man!!! And if we're all brutally honest with ourselves when we look in the mirror, most of us realise (myself included) that we're not exactly blessed cosmetically like J.Hawkins/B.Pitt, etc.

Yes, "SuBo" is a tad....."unfortunate" looking.....but anyone with a keen ear for sound will realise that her "true beauty" lies much, much deeper within, because she truly has been blessed with the (well-worn cliche) "voice of an angel"!! Smitten

If you look at the genII rear-end from a purely aerodynamic viewpoint (especially in regards to drag efficiency), most would realise that its' "true beauty" lies deep within its' radically different design! Pi_thumbsup

An extremely bold move by the suzuki design department (coz i'm sure they musta realised that it would cause many a debate).....but one that will no doubt, in the not too distant future, prove to be a master-stroke of genius (just watch in a few years time as the 'busa's closest competitors [zx;b/bird;etc] arse-ends start to transform into a suspiciously similar shape)!

I know I, personally, could (& kinda do) love the look of a genII just as much as I do my genI.....coz I know from just riding amongst a lot of them recently, the look is starting to warm to me! (not that i see the rear end very often, mainly just the front end view in the mirrors; but it looks virtually the same, dunnit?!?Lol3)

"Beauty is (and always will be) in the eye of the beholder" (...I'm juz quite content & happy at this moment that I ain't beholding "SuBo", but I could easily behold a genII, and I'm sure I'd still wake-up with a hard-on, just like I do when I close my eyes and listen to "SuBo" !!! Lol3)

Holy crap Bazman, that is the most articulate I've ever heard you. There is the soul of a poet hiding deep inside that rugged exterior. Now stop being a nancy and get back to photos of ladies wearing inappropriate clothing and booze.

Considering what it looked like when I bought it, I reckon the standard Gen II arse end looks damn fine!

Is it just me, or does this resemble one of those bikes at Tathra??
Camel, that is by far the most radical fender eliminator I have seen to date. Holds you in the race position?? Idiot2

I must admit, I'm starting to warm to the Gen2 rear end, but the stock pipes are never goring to be cool.

I hear the top speed record blokes in the USA reckon the gen 1 is more aerodynamic & hence slipperier. That's why they prefer them, but who really knows.Love a gen1 with a gen 2 donk & running gear. You there Bruce ?
