Just stuck it in a box, sent to USA & bingo. 5mm Offset Stroker Crank for 68mm stroke, for 86mm Offset Big Block for 1580cc. Threw new bearings in & conrod bolts. Cheers.

... totally stuffed the NSW CTP Green Slip Insurance legislation up and the NSW Workers Compensation legislation up & as you are probabley aware I am a Victim Of A Drunk Woman Driver currently undergoing Bob's compulsory 3 year starvation period & when I do finally settle their maximum loss of earning compensation is 1/169th of my actual lost earnings.

Oh man... and you're a saturation diver. I'm a crane op/rigger at Rio Tinto's alumina refinery in N.T. and I'm about to go back offshore, hopefully with Brunel (I was on the Goodwyn A for a couple years a while back)

The time I've been in the N.T. has been a damn stress because the N.T.'s idea of a workers compensation scheme is like NSW's, it would seem, absolutely guaranteed to scuttle anyone who earns higher than the non gender/race/religion/sexual orientation specific hominoid who wipes the sneeze guard over the salad bar at Sizzlers. Staying safe is not a 'nice to have' in the N.T., its a matter of survival... as it would seem it is here in NSW too.

Thanks very much for your kind thoughts Crane. I'm sure you'll be driving a Jay Ray McDermott big rig soon. If it wasn't for people like us. All these do gooders, brain tumored pigs & tree hugging greenies would be riding to work on pushbikes.
Apart from that, I've now decided to go with a worldwide consensous of opinion, use aftermarket rods, probabley Falicon H Beams that are 4grams lighter than the knife rod and cheaper. I'll end up buying em through good ol Schnitz Racing.
However, before I rip those stock rods off, I'll bung the Ross Pistons on & check the deck height clearance for CR calculation & check main bearing clearances.

So--; -2.5mm conrods & 2 x .005" Copper Base Gaskets & 1 x .063" Falicon Aluminium Base Gasket.

After speaking with Australia's No 1 Busa Engineer, I'll probably go the 0.050" base gasket for a little more CR. At this Br.Inj. rate, should have it finished by the end of 2010
