10th Anniversary Run - WA
Did a test Run this morning.

Up at 6am, bike was loaded from previous night, gear on and down to R'ham. Where is everyone? Rode around in circles. Sure I had the right location. Rang the missus to jump on the computer and check the details. Ended up riding home dejected to double check the details.

Aaaahhhhh, Saturday morning.

Incident free? I went out to the shed this arvo about 4:15pm to find the rear tyre flat:Scarywtf: Pumped it up to discover the valve stem had torn down at the rim ...... Swore, Panicked, kicked the dog & Swore some more.
Thought how can I get to a bike shop this late on a Friday to have them take the tyre off the rim and replace said valve stem. As I'm in Greenwood thought I'd give Cully's in Balcatta a ring. Explained the situation - Weren't interested Frown.

Thought I need to head south on the freeway to avoid peak hour traffic so Joondalup was out of the question. aha, Rick Gill. Gave them a call and Nick in the workshop said if I could get there by 5:10pm he would do it Pi_thumbsup. Whipped the rear wheel off, jumped in the ute and made it there with 5 mins to spare.Yes He did the job, I asked "How Much?" and he waved me away with a "have a great weekend."Pi_thumbsupPi_thumbsup

ClapThanks Nick and Rick GillClap

Now just packing & praying for no other surprises.

To everyone that organised the run it was better than expected and all of us from Kalgoorlie can not thank you all enough for a great week end. Best riding I have ever done and with a group of people that were like old friends. We all made it back to Kalgoorlie OK but the gold and black of outlaws finished the trip on the back of his ute thanks to the rear tyre being U/S. Hey Rev the DUC didn't break down hows for a one off.

Again thanks I am still on a high.
Glenn.

What can I say but WOW!!!! This past weekend will go down as one of those old war stories we like to bring up from time to time. Thanks to everyone involved. Sunday ..... Wow ....Wow ..... Wow!!!!!!! Awesome!!!! We are celebrating 10 yrs of the Busa because these are such fantastic bikes. The Gen I was never too far behind the Gen II's I might add. Great meeting everyone and look forward to the next (Sunday) 10yrs.
