Hi All,

BOOK NOW

Tathra Beach Tourist Park
Andy Poole Drive
Phone: 02 64941302 (Raylene)
And quote reference number AHC007 to ensure you are given the correct details when enquiring.

The Tourist Park has been receiving enquires for accommodation from other parties.

On the thread re Tathra numbers, there is a list of 43 people who are going to Tathra. http://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/...?tid=12907

At the moment, this does not appear to have translated into bookings at the Tourist Park.

A number of cabins and cottages have been booked. Some bookings have been made by one person for their group or partners and that is all good.

If you haven't booked, please do so as Tathra is only 3 weekends away.

The Tourist Park has been kind enough to hold all the cabins/cottages for us.

What we are trying to avoid is the park holding this accommodation, and it then being left empty.

Cheers
Regards,

Busdriver (aka Les)

Hi All Tathra Attendees,

Tathra is only 8 days away, if you don't count today and Friday 4 December.

Have you got your accommodation sorted?

It's gunna be a blast.

Also check-in is normally from 1pm. If you are going to be earlier, have a chat to the Park so they can see if they can shuffle the cleaning schedule.
Regards,

I'm putting this information here because I'm worried we are getting a lot of threads going on this topic.

The most important thing, FOOD!

On Friday night we are going to the Bowling Club, to visit their lovely French chef, Gee (buggered if I know how to spell that incidentally). Gee is amazing and has offered us a reduced menu, which makes perfect sense for our numbers. Your choices will be scotch steak or barramundi or a seafood platter or chicken parma (which I told him is always popular), bread and butter and either bombe alaska or croquembouche. He was wildly excited about the desserts, I suspect these are his favourites and he doesn't do them all that often. Aparently the mains are HUGE (according to both him and Raeleen at the caravan park) so a main and a desert should do. All that for $20 per head and less than 500m up the road on the beach.

Saturday night we are going to the pub up the hill for dinner and we'll order off the menu. There is a wedding on that night, so you mob BEHAVE!

Breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings will be a BBQ provided by Raeleen. She'll do eggs and bacon, bread rools, sausages, tea and coffee and orange juice. She's working out what that will cost a head, it isn't much. The cafe in town is closed that weekend for renovations, so Raeleen is our best bet. She's willing to start early on Sunday for those who want to get an early start.

Any questions/suggestions?

I'm not a big meat eater, if it isn't 'scotch' steak, then what is it? Scotch fillet? That's what's on the menu he sent me? Also, we are getting bombe alaska for desert.

Also, turns out Gee is spelt GUY. Must be a French thing. He was facinated by my name and was prepared to give us an Austrian themed menu. I said that wasn't necessary.
