Guess the Bike - Game 1 (Game finished)
#1
Something to pass the time.

I need (1) Make (2) Model and (3) Approx Year

I'll update the photo every 48 hours to reveal more of the bike. Points for correct answers reduce as more is revealed.

Photo 1 - Points are as follows

Make - 25
Model - 50
Year - 50

Have as many guesses as you wish... you may ask for clues.

If this turns out to be popular, scores for all players will be recorded across 10 games. The highest scorer after 10 games will win a prize (yet to be determined... but don't get too excited!)

LOL Pete !!!

Many thanks for the kind offer, but the prize for this series of games has been set (just don't want to reveal it yet). Perhaps if you're still feeling generous in Series 2 we can make the T Shirt the prize??

By jeeves its a Greeves!

1963 Greeves 250 Starmaker (not the Grumph) with the Villiers engine, (not the Triumph). I believe it was ridden to victory by the late Lord 'Dick' Flashart in the '63 Denley Moor scrambles event. He narrowly beat a very young Heikki Mikkola who was also riding a Greeves, albeit a borrowed 'Motofiets' (with trick hollowed out Triumph zenner diode heatsinks being used to keep his rear shock absorbers cool).
