Passing the hat for a mate....
#1
Fellow members - When i read about the tragic accident that claimed Mark's life on sunday, I was shocked to say the least and my thoughts went to his wife FiFi and his children who must be in a world of grief and sadness right now.

We only knew him for a short while and even though he rode another brand of motorbike before buying his Busa recently, essentially he was the same as everyone of us. A bloke who loved to ride his bike, loved fixing it, blinging it, bragging about it to his mates about it, taking his "pillion in a million" away for a weekend on it, all those things we love too.

I am fortunate that i'm in a position to donate some money to Mark's wife Fifi and the kids to help in some small way to get through this difficult time however they need to use it and i'm hoping that some of you guys will divert some of your bling money their way as well.

Tomorrow i will set up an account to allow those who want to kick in to do so, anonymously if you prefer although i do ask that you use your online username as a reference when you do.

I was fortunate to walk away from an accident last year and received lots of help from members and friends and i would like to pay it forward.

I will let this run until Sunday week the 25th October and then contact Fifi to pass on the donation.

Thanks Ruffy Grouphug
