You don't buy raffle tickets for the bike. In previous years by registering for the event, you automatically go into the draw for the prize.

And those staying in Jindy, u staying at Station Resort? Volvi, the event is not really centralised anywhere but I understand that some things are centred in Thredbo. The idea of the ride is that you do a loop of the Snowy Mountains over the weekend and get a "passport" stamped at a number of towns along the way. The rules are pretty loose though. Other regulars can tell you more.

There has been talk of trying to arrange a meet up on the Saturday at Jindabyne with other members of the Hayabusa club. In regards to the raffle, tickets and merchandise can be purchased at Cooma and also in Thredbo. Hope to see you and others there.

also you can order a book of raffle tickets in the fireblade and sell them your self.
i have a book at my work.they are $5 a ticket.thats for the fireblade. but the book and any outstanding unsold tickets have to be sent back by a certain date which i better check up when i go back to work thurs.. i know so far there are a few people staying at the jydny holiday park..... also do people want to meet up? a suggestion is lunch on staurday.be mindful that all towns are fairly well packed.bikes everywhere.so getting a feed could be a bit of a wait.(although i do remember several bbqs going by local clubs) as busgo said the idea is too visit various local towns and get your passport stamped.how ever you can as baby and i have said you can just do it as a job lot at thredbo.i have a feeling you probably could at any of the stamping sites. just make sure you place your sticker on your bike somewhere visiable.national parks sticker.cause they do check .

well only a short few weeks to go and with a gentle reminder i better pulll my finger out.
okies peoples here is what i am recommending.please remeber its only an idea at this stage and i need to do some follow up phone calls. on the saturday we meet at 'lake jindabyne hotel' at 1pm. this gives people time too check things out ,sleep in ect.. i,m suggesting having lunch there and a beer or two or maybe a jimmy or a bundy..or maybe lemonade. i will ring this place in b/h's to find out what their plans are for that day..so its a tentative booking but i,m still thinking saturday 1pm in jindy.because its central...although i am open for help/sugestions looking forward too some catching up and some laughs ![]() ![]() ![]() if you have any questions esp if its your first time on the ride you can pm me or give me a call on my mobile.. give me a pm first and ill give you my mob number just be aware i am no veteran of the snowy ride .. but i may be able to give insite..also im thinking you may be able to pm babybusa and ihotbusa as well

mmm. With all this interest in the annual snowy ride which does the LOOP it seems a little bemusing that most wanted to move the 10th anniversary busa ride, because most didnt want to do the loop. Its also interesting that some even want to do the loop on the rats snowy ride, those that nominated Tathra for the 10th anniversary busa ride?.Just dont come back raving about the challenge of riding in difficult weather conditions when most stayed in the bar as soon as they saw a cloud on the busa runs.I,ll be down there this year rain snow or shine and generally all of the above and ive never said any different.

Although The Snowy Ride does encourage a LOOP of the mountains Glenn, it is a get together for bikers from all over Australia to help raise money for cancer reseach and more of a meet and greet than a fast ride.
This has nothing to do with Hayabusa club activities except that some of us are going and there is an opportunity for a get together while there. Good work cheeky for getting something organised. Please keep us informed.

![]() they are more than happy about catering for large crowds and open esp for that day..only closed on xmas day. they told me that their menu will probably change from the winter menu to summer menu.. also its bistro style.and will cater for us no probs..no booking needed. so here it is. 1pm the saturday of the snowy ride for lunch. that way some people who want to do the loop and visit towns can... do before or after.. or....sleep in from travels from day before hand or partying to hard on the fri night.. or...you can include the pub lunch on your travels according too the snowy run itinerary.. the hotel is a central place and well known to the locals so meet you there ![]() ![]()
