I was behind all black K9, all sold out in WA, the deal which I am getting for this Black and Gold is unreal Trophy.
The only other choice was white - which I am not a a great fan of.

Color scheme for K9 is very limited, hence the black and gold.

I ended up getting a 2nd hand black K9 as McCullochs in Vic Park had the only two new black ones left (about 2 months ago now) and they wanted an extra $1000 for the colour.

Where'd you buy and what sort of ride away deal did you get if you don't mind me asking.

I was offerred $18K ride away on either new white or black/gold. I see Lloyd Chapmans are advertising new ride away for $17 700 now.

Congrats on the purchase Bill. It'll be great seeing all the new bikes on the 10th anniversary run.

I know about how you got your K9, I think you were lucky to get it. I am also buying from Witch Cycles.

I like Lloyd Chapmans I think they are cool, straight forward price and clean deal - only they didnt offer me good price for my trade in.

Will not go to McCullochs - they didnt even want to talk to me about the bike or deal (didnt like my skin color I think Lol2) - They even refused a test ride - reason being - 'why do you want a ride, both bikes ride same - its almost same bike' . My 8 Yr old wanted to see how it feels on the new busa Undecided.

I also liked Savage, but Witch made me a straight forward offer.

Huls,

I also followed your bike - was ready to buy a used one - if it was black.

Anyway I am getting a New K9 Demo with 300k for 16500$.
and I am getting very decent price for my trade in.

So all is good. I will let you know the exact price of trade in by some time tomm. and All this without a single visit or viewing of any of the bikes. Witch as still not seen in person my bike and I just stoped by yesterday to say hi to them in my car.....Clap

So far I am impressed with Witch Cycles.

Cheers,

Bill

I had simular issues when i brought mine about a month ago, I could get white cheap enough although some places wanted near 3k more for the black.

IN the end i spent $300 extra, ( after alot of back and forth between 2 dealers ) It was worth it.. But i would never have paid more than i did for a black model. Even with cars, asthetics i have never been fussy over.

IMO, the black and gold looks decent ! It'll probably grow on you ;)
