Sounds like you'll be able to pull up in a hurry! You'll be able to out-brake most of us.
I just read a couple of reviews, it sure reviews well. Things I have read say it is one of the best LAMS bikes around. I'll definately go and have a fang on one to see how it stacks up against the GS500. The GS has been my favourite up til now (and the one I recomend), but based on these reviews it might be time for a comparison.

LOL Heidi! I can't outbrake you as I won't be going as FAST!!!! LOL
Nope, but if you are in front and slam on the anchors, you'll get to see a whole flock of busas go bush.
caking myself laughing at the image of all busa going bush and the damsel saying 'oi told ya there was a dead end here!!'
i had the simular braking system on my vfr800.it was anjuly 07 mod in black.
i loved it.
thats the thing i would love to see the hayabusa do on their next version.
i found it a better braking system.(mainly cause i have bad habits and use the back brake only alot on the busa )

LOL! Haha the only fault with that theory is me in front on a CB400 and a heap of riders behind on Busas!!

4 hours until I pick it up :) Mass Excitement !!!!
got gold rims... looks pretty cool.... well, for me anyway!! Will post pics shortly
YAY!!!! Have you got someone to follow you home? I know it sounds a bit silly, but it is easier if you have someone experienced behind you to keep the traffic off you. Just a suggestion, but even if you don't have a mate on a bike, get a friend in a car (but make sure to tell them to watch for your braking). If you have someone behind you it is just a little bit easier, one less thing to worry about.
This is a suggestion I do for anyone picking up their first bike, I can't tell you how many L platers I have followed home. A few weeks ago I even had to ride a mates first SCOOTER home! I was SO EMBARASSED, I said I would only do it if there was no camera. As I took off I heard a huge cheer and turned back to see all the boys from the shop cheering me off waving their camera phones. f***kers.

All sorted :) Should have given them a flyby, screeched to a halt in front of them, issued a race challenge and then gotten the hell outta there!! Well, as fast as you can on a scooter! LOL!
No doubt about it Heidi, you're a good egg. There are many who would not have done that for a friend.... may lend money, offer a sympathetic ear for hours on end, sacrifice first born child... but ride a scooter? WOW!!!
Yep. Got that puppy up to 130kms/hr on the way home. If you're going to ride something like that, ride it like its stolen.
Did you get the bike?

OOOOOHHHHH YYYYYYYEEEAHHHHHHHH!!! I got the bike. LOVED IT!! Was so bloody scared at first, but a couple of practice runs up and down some local back streets first to get used to the bike and then you couldn't see anything but a grin from ear to ear! Couldn't bring myself to get off it once I got home.... Several of the residents finally lured me off it with food and alcohol much later on :)
Going on a longer ride tomorrow - well, longer for me that is. Couple of hours round trip. Test is on Wednesday, then I have my P's. I'll be straight off to spend a moment with my Dad (and Mum) and to make some new promises :) like staying upright & staying safe......
Must say that the team at Honda Underwood offered fantastic service and all the staff had a great attitude and were very professional. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
It's all good
