The CB 400 looks like a nice bike and I have heard it still has a fair bit of power.

What colour did you get? Did you get the ABS version?

Hi Kathy. I got black and opted for ABS.... I was so sure I was getting the GS500 until late yesterday afternoon! Thanks for all your help and advice - really appreciate it :)

Nice choice and you are welcome.

What made ou change your mind at the last minute.....and don't say "I'm female, that's what we do" Lol3

LOL.... hang onto your seat... a hot young guy on the sales team.... !! Nah, was just such a smoother ride and the gear changes were much better. That and the fact that it had a lot more get up and go. I hope it is worth the price difference though...

Well done D, you're turning into a rider faster than ever, you're done good, and a great L plate bike. We all started on smaller bikes and worked our ways progressively to the bigger horsepower monsters, those that go from L to big bores have a much steeper learning curve on which to learn to stay alive and or in one piece.

Good for you.

Max
Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!

Buggar! That'd by MY Dad... and he said 'Promise me you won't get one!!!!!" But thanks Dad! I will. I have lost loved ones to this game and I have a healthy respect for it. In fact, for the first time in a long time - I'm a bit nervous!! But once I'm on the bike, I'm sure my Dad's genes will kick in..... the first place I'll go when I have my P's is to show him my bike.

Dad's rock, that's for sure :)

I will have a look tonight. Got a call from Honda this morning saying they can't get CB400 in black with ABS..... then they said their blue so they're fixing it. I will have the only black one in Aust with ABS that we know of (for now at least).Coolsmiley
