what if the people who voted for mildura would rather go to mudgee instead of Tathra ? what happens then which at the moment os 50% when u add them together.

Gnarbunkle I can see what you're trying to do and I applaud the suggestion. Under 'other' circumstances it might be appropriate... but this whole selection process (for both dates and venues) was very transparent, democratic, well organised, well managed and well publicised. Everybody had their say, everyone was given the same amount of notice, every vote counted. I don't believe it needs to be repeated just because some members got all excited about one particular venue and started making side plans. That's only natural.... but their exuberance doesn't mean that the selection process has been subverted. After all, they only got one vote each... same as the rest of us. Voting isn't closed and a final decision is yet to be made.

As far as Jindy is concerned... in the original thread about venues there is some discussion about moving it away from that venue. Kawa might not have seen that. But in the end and for whatever reason, people didn't vote for Jindy.

Had the process been shoddy or lax, then sure I'd be supportive of starting over. But it wasn't.... so why should we be diverted, directed or dictated to by a minority who had the same voting rights as everyone else.

I'm sure they answer some of the detractors or should I say Divertors above.

We've got a good transparent process going here. Divertors and detractors all get to have their say along with everyone else.

The great part of this process is that the "Everyone Else" are the majority of our members and their choices will be done.

Just hurry up & pick a time & place already

Any where down south is always going to be at least a week in travel to & from for any of the Queenslanders.
There will only be a select few that will make the trip
So its not realy worth us voting
we just need to know so time off etc can be worked out

The dates have been voted and established Shane. 4th, 5th and 6th December. You have dates bloke. The rest is flowing along just great, Heidi will close the poll shortly and we will have both dates along with venue. It will be an excellent weekend. We certainly acknowledge the incredible ride you banana benders do to get down here. Hats off to you!
