This is a store that will become a regular stop for bikers.
The Bylong General Store is situated about half way between Sandy Hollow and Rylstone on the Bylong Valley Way.
This road is incredible and has just had the final section of 23klms sealed to make a 106klm stretch of fantastic bike friendly road.
Our lunch stop on Friday was at Rylstone. A nice little town with a few pubs and cafes to choose from.
The bike friendly Panorama City Hotel/Motel in Bathurst has oodles of space in the bike park. Even room for a dozen or so veteren cars too.
Breakfast room on Saturday morning. The sun was out while we prepared for the ride and lasted for about the first 30 minutes.
Buggar!
Left to right. Shona, Harley, Bev, Busgo, Cheeky, Gaye, Gassick, Nivo.
Main street of Oberon. We arrived in light mist and left in heavy mist and it just kept getting heavier. Crumpy advised going back to Bathurst via Lithgow.(Just a bit longer but safer) YEAH RIGHT! 100 KS of fog. By the way, thanks loads for guiding us Crumpy.
More to come.
