Brother inlaw got a run in an F18 at Williamtown.
Said it was awesome.
That acceleration in the 1st vid was unbelievable. Only trouble is you'd spend the rest of your life trying to duplicate it.

Very jealous, I think only one thing could top that and that would be hitting the trap on an aircraft carrier in one of them babies. Greg Norman was one of the few civvies granted that privilege I believe.

He did really well! I love the way the pilot would say, 'are you with me Steve, are you with me' and he would jerk up his head and say yes, but I don't think he was right there in the moment.
Unless I was the pilot, I would have chucked. Looks like brilliant fun.
