Good morning people...yes, am a little seedy but was up at 6:30 this morning cleaning the dirt off my baby.

Blackdown is bitumen to the top, to the first lookout, and dirt from there. Interesting in some spots, went right down to rainbow falls. Found a young guy from cairns wandering around in the middle of nowhere, had taken a VW van down a 4wd track and realised he couldn't get any further, so turned around and got stuck trying to get up a rough hill.

So here I am on the busa looking for this van after we pointed the guy in the right direction, going down this rough as guts track with my mate on his old Z1000. Found the van and his girlfriend sitting there. So we jacked the van up and started pulling it out, got it out where he had got dry bogged at the bottom of the hill when he was reversing. Still no hope getting it up the hill.

The boyfriend came back with a guy in a Prado, and had to tow him up the hill. The ranger turned up and had a few stern words with him and off they went.

So the busa makes a for a good trail bike too apparently...

Well I had 2 drinks in Bluff before I headed up there. Then had a couple there again on the way home, but did the good boy thing and parked the bike up.

Its a 1978 or 79 Kwacka Z1000 ST, goes pretty damn well for an old bike too I might add.
