i have an idea why don't we do the Bathurst run and time it with the V8 supercars or if that does not work do it when the track is open to public so we can race around it??? i'd go when the V8's are on! thats my personal choice anyway!!! we shold also have prizes for longest distance travelled on a busa of course and another for the best bike there, that would make it more fun!!!

Cops trawl Bathurst track regular and you dont really have an escape route on teh way out :)

After many years in milatary I have done enough camping to last this and my next life time - no thanks, too old for that shit now

Thanks for helping Crumpy - local knowledge is invaluable for these runs.
Yep, I think we will avoid any active track action. You can always do a quiet loop of the track in small groups or on your own as we have done a few times before.

Of course other bikers are going to be welcome. This is the busa club + friends. Not much fun if everyone is riding the same bike, is it.
I will work on a date and let you know Crumpy. I'm hoping to slip the ride in sometime in MAY.

I will unstick this poll now that the decision has been made to go to Bathurst in May.
I don't want to get confusion between this ride and the birthday celebration in the second half of the year.
Hope to see lots of members there.
We already have over 30 names on the list.
YAY!
