If my work plans go to plan, then I would like to be able to get something i can pull apart and put back together again so I can work it all out and do own maintenance (well, mostly, once I get the hang of it). It's a family tradition. used to do same for cars but they've gotten a bit flash and difficult to do so these days. Just getting to the plugs in the honda is a pain in the butt!!! So i'll need something easy to work on too.

Now your talkin.
Dead set the 250RR is right up your alley, just as long as its a used one, prefebly with a few K's on her. That way you won't trust it btill you go thru it. Thats how I lernt. Bought the cheapest one, as long as it went and the motor is bullit proof, which they are. The bike strips down easy enough, easily servicable. I am 6ft 2 and I looked like julgana, but that didnt stop me. Had mine for tywo years, loved that bike. The other thing is progression. Work your way up. I have been riding for seven years now. Had the 250RR for two years, then the 97' GSX-R750 close to five years, now walla The Busa. I am not sayin that you should stick it out for that long, you know when your ready for a Busa. It is that special....

As some might say, throw a leg over as many as you can try (ohhhherrrrr)
But you'll never know your tastes or how it feels unless you try. |
