If the race is a dry one, I'm punting for a Stoner, Rossi then Hayden finish.
If the race is wet, then the outstanding Suzuki traction control will reign (rain) and Vermeulen will win with Stoner 2nd and Rossi 3rd but to do it Chris will have to get past the other two and retain the lead on the final straight.
I won't be surprised if Rossi doesn't get another "off the track" to try and retain the lead in this race.

Thought Hayden was injured and out of this one ?Confused

Well fellars it's a dry track and the sun is out, Stoner still looks like the man to beat but I'm sure Rossi is going to have something to say about that. If Rossi and Stoner don't take themselves out I reckon Stoner for the Win Rossi 2nd and Vermeulen 3rd but I wouldn't be counting out Pedrosa.

Casey Stoner led Valentino Rossi once more in the morning warmup at Brno

Casey Stoner laid down the fastest time of the MotoGP Sunday warmup at Brno with a 1´57.204 lap, finally able to let loose once more on a dry Czech Republic track. The Ducati Marlboro rider starts from pole for the latest round of the MotoGP World Championship, aiming to return to winning ways after seeing his consecutive victory run ended at Laguna Seca.

Fellow front row starter Valentino Rossi nearly half a second down on Stoner in the warmup session, second quickest in the 25-minute run. Trailing the leading duo were Chris Vermeulen and Sylvain Guintoli although the pair was nearly two seconds slower than the frontrunners expected to battle for the win once more this afternoon.

Toni Elias and Shinya Nakano upped the Bridgestone tyre representation in the top six, with Repsol Honda´s Dani Pedrosa the fastest Michelin rider in seventh. Front row man John Hopkins was tenth quickest.

OMG - What a F#$KING whinger Stoner is - awesome rider but the interview (besides zzzzz boring as batshit as usual) whining about passes - fuckman you are paid the most $$ in racing and you cant handle some racing and mind games WANKER - Awesome rider but Stoner will never have my vote for rider of the year.

I would like to see Stoner do what Rossi has done so many times actually have to fight his way through the field 10secs behind and get around everyone and win .... oh no that would mean I have to pass everyone ..eeeeww they might scare me ARGHHHH

Hey Busakid08 don't ya let up weren't you going on about the same stuff in the last few rounds.
Give him time he's still finding his feet when it comes to dealing with the media etc, but he did get one over Rossi this round with the joke in the media conference earlier in the weekend but Rossi certainly has a few mile under the belt when it comes to dealing with the media and public but in saying that I don't think anyone does it better than Rossi.

Just Remember though Rossi has done his fair share of whinging as well that's why he changed tyre brands.

But anyway to the better man on the day whether it be Stoner or Rossi or who ever.

Well what can we say he fell off but but not to worry he will survive to fight another day. On a brighter note what about Ant West wasn't that great to see with a top 5 finish with Vermeulin behind him in 6th.

Valentino Rossi extended his World Championship lead to 50 points in Brno.

Valentino Rossi once again benefitted from Casey Stoner´s misfortune for a second consecutive MotoGP victory, crossing the finish line first at the Cardion ab Grand Prix Ceske republiky. The Fiat Yamaha rider´s win –coupled with an early crash from his title rival- increased his lead to 50 points in the standings and dealt a crucial strike to his World Championship chances.

Stoner was caught by surprise on the sixth lap when seemingly on course for a comfortable victory. He had nearly a 1.5 second advantage over Rossi after taking the holeshot, but slipped his front wheel out on the new Brno asphalt and was lowsided into the gravel. It was Stoner´s first rider-provoked DNF since his joining the Ducati Marlboro team for the 2007 season.

Ducati were, however, represented on the podium in the Czech Republic, courtesy of Alice Team rider Toni Elias. The Spaniard had experienced problems on the sighting lap –a sign that did not bode well for his race- but burst through the 800cc stars ahead of him from thirteenth on the grid. His second place marks the first podium for both he and his satellite team in 2008, and he became only the second satellite rider to step onto the rostrum this year.

Another podium first came from Loris Capirossi, as the veteran made his maiden appearance on the rostrum for Rizla Suzuki. The Italian had taken off from the end of the third row, but showed that there was still life in his MotoGP career by making Suzuki the fourth manufacturer with which he had taken a top three finish in the premier class.

Shinya Nakano paid back Honda for their decision to supply him with a factory spec RC212V for the remainder of the season, giving an immediate return with fourth place for San Carlo Honda Gresini. The Japanese rider was the highest placing rider for the manufacturer, with Michelin-shod factory man Dani Pedrosa way down in fifteenth place.

Riding for his future in MotoGP, Anthony West had the best result of his premier class career onboard the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR. The Australian came home fifth after a superb ride, holding off fellow countryman Chris Vermeulen.

Marco Melandri finished seventh in a race that will do much to aid his cause, whilst the top ten was completed by Alex de Angelis, Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo. The latter two were the only Michelin riders amongst the first ten past the line.

I'm thinkin he may be a little bit rattled after Laguna. Rossi did the same thing to Sete Gibernau, Seem to remeber him saying he would never win another race and old Sete retired not too long after On the other hand he may of just stuffed up that turn and thrown it up the track

Ahhhh - Rossi had stoner's front tyre "buffed" so he had no grip which explains the "off" Ghastly
