Hi Guy's, well the beast is finished (for now!), we rolled it out the door late Friday night, I took it for a blat around the block to make sure everything was ok, before throwing Jen on the back and going for a ride. Friday night was bloody cold, the bitumen was cold, the tyres were cold, I took off up the road, at about 80kph I poured on about half throttle, the bike snapped sideway's then proceeded to "snake" up the road till I rolled off the gas!Eek. I made it around the block in one piece, picked Jen up then went for a ride into Parramatta for a coffee. I could have been riding through LebanonLol3 "Oohh! man, a Hayabusa, fully sic!, how fast it go man?"
I replied with a : " It's quicker than ur fully sic WRX man"Lol3
Yesterday afternoon Jen & I went for a ride up the Putty only as far as Colo Heights, but it was a chance to play in some twisties, it is surprisingly nimble and held it's line very well, I'll make some minor suspension adjustments and it will be fine. This bike pulls harder than a 14y.o. school boy!. Coming out of the corners, Jen had trouble staying on, (she only has one arm!) so she decided the safest bet was to hang on to me as hard as she could, that seemed to work!. I am very happy with the way the bike came together and how it runs. For an everyday street and long distance bike, it is Awsome.

Cheers,
Tex & Bundy

The red rims are a treat, very nice!

Well I'll finally get around to putting on the fender eliminator on my bike.

Slowly but surely...

Hi,
Just thought I'd say some thing about my new LTD white.

This busa is a little different then the other LTD I had. Smoother gear change and much better on fuel. Rode 198 K's yesterday and still have 3/4 fuel left. Now that the tyres are say worn in I can get a little quicker through the corners.
This new busa seems to have more power and rides will. Maybe just me hay.
I'm happy to have a busa then the Triumph Rocket III as I'm more at ease riding the busa, always on the edge with the Rocket III.

One thing I have found is the rear brake is shit, to much pressure used to stop normal. Checking the disc when I got home I've found grease on it!! You would think doing a pre delivery they would have found the brake problem. Anyway I'll see what I can do today.
Other then that I am the most happy Hayabusa owner. O yes Heli Bars on with out the double bubble screen so far seems to work better, but today I'll put the screen and go for a ride again after I check and clean the rear brakes. I may even have to change the pads if I cannot remove the grease.
My busa number is 122/150 and no recall great!!!!
Cheers
John
Thanks John

Glad to hear, I am as happy as a pig in mud over mine.

Had to ride the bf's 99 over to the new house. Talk about two different bikes!! His has been through the suzuki race workshop and new motor dropped in, race suspension etc...all when he brought it. Mate both great bikes, but so different. His is so torquey... unbelievable.

They are both great bikes. Love riding to work on mine.

Still waiting on the white bagster tank cover.....waiting waiting...

Just traded my R1 in on the weekend for this baby.

Best decision I have made in a while.

Went into the bike shop thinking I was going to get the orange colour, saw the white and was instantly smitten.

Noice!

ps Im number 56.

I have to admitt that the white Busa has drawn attention like no other bike I have owned.

I have had people pull up along side me put there window down and comment on how nice the bike is. The biggest suprise to me was when I had the bike parked and had a couple of rather nice looking girls make a comment about the colour and how nice it looked, they even made mention that they don't normally look at bikes but this one was out there for all to see and what a nice one it is. Now you can imagin how big my head was couldn't get the bloody helmet on could I Lol3..

Anyway I love the Busa and especially the white.
